PHD Grippers
Angular Grippers (Series 5300)
Double-acting for either internal or external gripping applications. Optional internal springs allow the unit to be used as a single-acting gripper, for additional grip force, or for grasping an object without air pressure.
Advantages: Heavy duty construction, pneumatic service, high grip force, spring assist, switches.
Angular Grippers (Series 8400 & 190)
Compact size is ideal for handling small parts in confined areas. Double-acting for either internal or external gripper applications.
Advantages: Rugged construction, small size, spring assist, switches, and low cost.
Angular Grippers (Series 8600)
Double-acting for either internal or external gripping applications. Rugged jaw and body construction can withstand high impact and shock loads. Available in four sizes to cover a wide range of application requirements.
Advantages: Lightweight, pneumatic service, and switches.
Angular Grippers (Series GRB) *New Design
Series GRB Grippers provide up to 180° of angular jaw travel allowing the jaws to completely retract from the work area eliminating an otherwise required axis of travel. Internal shock pads help dampen end of rotation shock and ensure quiet operation.
Advantages: Robust cam design, adjustable opening, six sizes, field repairable
Parallel Grippers (Series 190/191)
Compact size is ideal for handling small parts in confined areas. Units provide true parallel jaw travel with no arching motion for easy tooling design.
Advantages: Small size, pneumatic service, two jaw travels, two jaw styles, spring assist, and switches.
Parallel Grippers (Series 5300)
Double-acting for either internal or external gripper applications. Oval piston construction provides high grip force to weight ratio. Close tolerance jaw mechanism eliminates jaw play.
Advantages: Heavy duty construction, pneumatic service, high grip force, spring assist, switches.
Parallel Grippers (Series GRC)
A SHURGRIP version is available for restraining jaw movement and retaining the part upon loss of air pressure. Available in four sizes with two jaw and body styles for maximum application versatility. High grip force to weight ratio for efficient use of space and power.
Advantages: Long travel, pneumatic service, high grip force, locking feature, spring assist, switches.
Parallel Grippers (Series GRD)
Very high grip force to weight ratio for efficient use of space and power. Compact size is ideal for handling small parts in confined areas.
Advantages: Small size, pneumatic service, two jaw travels, spring assist, switches, and low cost.
Parallel Grippers (Series GRL)
Parallel motion is ideal for gripping parts of varying sizes while maintaining the parallel relationship of the jaws to the part. Unit is available in two sizes with grip force up to 41 lb [182 N]at 87psi [6 bar].
Advantages: Versatile slim profile, long jaw travel.
Parallel Grippers (Series GRR)
The NEW Series GRR Gripper offers long jaw travel and high grip force for a wide range of automation applications. The rugged design and jaw construction can withstand high impact and shock loads.
Advantages: Narrow width, long jaw travel, rugged design, true parallel jaw motion.
Parallel Grippers (Series GRS)
Series GRS Grippers feature an angled cam drive mechanism for achieving higher grip forces and incorporate a low profile design to fit limited space applications. Available with two jaw travels per size, the Series GRS Grippers provide adaptability to meet a wide variety of applications. Optional spring assist enhances maximum gripping force and provides part retention upon loss of air pressure.
Advantages: Low profile design, high grip forces, double acting for internal/external gripping applications, available in five sizes
Parallel Grippers (Series GRT)
Three jaw design provides self-centering and maximum contact between part and jaw tooling making these grippers ideal for high moment applications. Jaw motion is true parallel and synchronous for easy design of jaw tooling. Units are fully field repairable.
Advantages: Very low profile, pneumatic service, eight sizes, high grip force, spring assist and switches.
Parallel Grippers (Series GRW)
Versatile wide body gripper has large tool surfaces for ease of tooling attachment. The long stroke capability of this gripper combined with its heavy duty jaw guides provide a very robust gripping package.
Advantages: Long jaw travel, wide range of applications, high performance, dependability.
