Modern-day industrial environments all have "danger zones" that personnel need protection from such as conveyor systems, palletising and wrapping machines, automated punching and cutting lines and production robots. The Troax Machine Safety range is a cost effective, well-developed modular system that can be tailored to suit most spaces within such environments.

The full range includes the Safe-T and Safe Lite Panel Systems, Rapid Fix and Safe Lock, all of which fulfil the requirements of national and EU directives, Laws and Norms. 

Safe-T

This robust, durable panel system provides perimeter protection of personnel from moving parts on most types of machinery.  The system has been developed with two methods of installation:  Safe Fix and Rapid Fix.  It is specifically compliant to EN 294 and EN 953, which define allowable openings, type of mesh design and resistance.  The Safe-T panel's frame is constructed from 30 x 20mm steel tubing, providing considerable rigidity and resistance from distortion and deformation.  The system is installed 200mm off the floor, facilitating cleaning and non-accumulation of waste within the protected area.  Safe-T also performs well in energy and absorption tests, which ensure the integrity of minimum secure distances and protection in the event of an unexpected ejection from automatic machinery.

Safe Lite

Safe Lite is a modular panel system that is also very strong and durable.  It offers protection for less hazardous environments in various industrial applications, the most common of which being conveyor safety.  With mesh openings of 23mm x 100mm, the panels are impossible for personnel to climb.  This design also provides excellent visibility through the mesh.

Rapid Fix

This flexible, space saving safety system is designed for industries where robots or other automated high capacity machinery is used.  It is named for its ability to be quickly assembled and disassembled by a two point fixing system.  Mesh panels can easily be interchanged with full steel, sound absorbing or transparent panels with or without UV protection.  Rapid Fix is also equipped with doors to suit customer specifications and can be supplied with a range of locking devices.

Safe Lock

This unique interlock closing system ensures that doors to protected zones can only be locked or unlocked in the "open" position, thus preventing personnel from being enclosed within the zone.  Safe Lock is a patented, 3 state system that uses the same basic units for both swing and sliding doors and has a mechanical closing device suitable for virtually all industrial applications. Its bi-stable system ensures that switches can only be in the open or closed positions and never in between.  Safe Lock is supplied with either left or right-handed ergonomic opening and closing handles.
